Calling It Home’s Fall 2016 edition of the One Room Challenge™ is now underway and the bloggers and designers have hit the ground running on their six week design challenge!

For this season’s challenge, Metrie has partnered with several fabulous design bloggers to elevate their spaces with exquisitely crafted interior finishings for their room transformations. And in this edition of ‘Links We Love,’ here is a first-hand look at the spaces we’re excited to see transformed just six short weeks.

After creating a laundry room you actually want to spend time in for the Fall 2015 One Room Challenge, designer Sarah Walker, of The Curated House, is now tackling her 1960’s side split basement. Sarah has plans work some ‘serious Metrie magic’ to create a showstopping wall treatment.

Tricia, of Suburban B’s,  has an open concept house that is ready for a revamp! For this ORC, Tricia is boldly undertaking her family room, kitchen and breakfast nook. But with her tenacity, we have no doubt the spaces will be amazing!

With a baby  due in a few weeks, design blogger Gwen, of The Makerista, has an extra tight timeline to transform her sunroom into a duo work space and nursery. And we cannot wait to see what she has in store!

Designer Shannon Claire, of Burlap and Lace, plans to update her living room in her Washington, DC apartment. We’re most excited to see the Parisian-inspired wall treatment she has in up her sleeve for her mirrored wall.

Designer Kirsten Krason, of House of Jade Interiors, has a new home and it is a blank canvas. For her ORC, Kirsten will be creating a multipurpose dining/craft/homework room that is sure to inspire!

Even in the middle of a kitchen renovation designer Sherry Hart, of Design Indulgence, instantly agreed to take part in this season’s ORC. For her six week challenge, Sherry will be transforming her master bedroom. And even though she still has to flush out an official plan for the space – we cannot wait to see more!

For designer Megan Pflug, of Megan Pflug Designs, it is her first ORC. She and her husband will be overhauling their 1901 Brooklyn basement into a chic yet functional guest suite/Airbnb rental. When can we book?!

Joining in as a guest participant is DIYer extraordinaire Leslie, of Paper Daisy Design. Lesley will be continuing to work on her dated 90’s master bathroom to transform it into a calming oasis for her and her husband.

Last but certainly not least is designer Vanessa Francis, of Vanessa Francis Design, who is also a guest participant. Vanessa is no stranger to the ORC – having created a stunning Parisian inspired master bedroom, a gorgeous kitchen, a playful art filled bathroom and a chic bedroom for her daughter. This season Vanessa will be tackling her new kitchen – which we cannot wait to see!

Buckle up design lovers, as these designers and design bloggers have a hectic few weeks in front of them! Be sure to check back to The Finished Space every Friday to see the progress they’ve been making.
