We shared with you the invited design bloggers‘ amazing spaces that were revealed for Calling It Home’s Spring 2018 One Room Challenge™ in a fun read here. Now, we are excited to share the gorgeous rooms, designed by the guest participants. Take a look and be prepared to swoon over these jaw-dropping makeovers that took place in just six weeks:

House By The Bay

Week Four | Week Five

Casey’s open-concept kitchen and dining room is making our hearts flutter! From the pendant lights to granite countertops, this space is embellished with contemporary elements. The new hardwood floors and adjoining Very Square baseboard work together to complement the island. Now with an airy space for more mobility and functionality, we can already picture the fabulous dinner parties and meals that will be taking place in this area.

Erin Kestenbaum

Hat Tip: Erin Kestenbaum

Erin achieved a vintage European boutique hotel bathroom using a mix of modern elements with a luxurious twist. There is just the right amount of blue and brass to work cohesively with the beautiful herringbone tile and the bright white of the Fashion Forward crown moulding, baseboard, casing, and fingerjont poplar applied moulding. Erin also continued the panel mould look into the shower using the marble tile to bring some extra attention to the space.

White Cabana

Dressed in all-white and bright, Jordana’s bathroom and laundry room reveal is like new! After removing the floral wallpaper, and replacing it with a fresh white paint, she also installed subway tile and hex marble-like tile for a classic touch. The renovations do not stop there, as she also installed new Masonite Lincoln Park doors, from Metrie, and sleek finishes, including a new mirror, faucet, and shower system.

The Happy Housie

Krista is making a splash with her son’s bedroom makeover! She wanted the space to reflect his love for sand and surf, using a mix of blue, and beach-themed crates. Not pictured, are shark bed sheets along with a shark head accessory that perfectly ties into this nautical theme. She even incorporated both a feature wall, using Metrie Complete Pre-Painted shiplap and a large wave mural that’s left us saying, Surf’s up!

Deeply Southern Home

Leslie took our breath away with her library office reveal! In order to create the perfect office space for her husband, she sought out meaningful art and heritage pieces, paired with a warm color palette. We are captivated by the library wall, surrounded by interior finishings from our French Curves Collection. Leslie enhanced her gorgeous faux fireplace by layering a combination of French Curves poplar chair rail and panel mould. The panel mould makes another appearance as sectioning for the library bookshelves, as well as the casing for the cabinet doors. The earth tone palette continues with the rolling ladder and in the decorative elements along the shelves, leading all the way up to the crown moulding.

The Leslie Style

What was once a two-season porch is now a fully-functional four-season dining room! This space makes a statement with alluring lighting, charming dinnerware and glassware for endless fancy tablescapes, and plenty of greenery and florals.  Leslie used an array of our interior finishings for added architectural interest, and we were blown away by her creativity in using crown moulding as a window sill. See how the rest of our interior finishings were incorporated in her impressive reveal, here.

Room for Tuesday

Sarah dedicated the design focus and functionality of her laundry room makeover to her adorable dogs. In need of a space that would hide the unsightly aspects that come along with being a dog owner, such as leashes and bowls, Sarah decided her laundry room would be the pawfect fit. Sarah gave this space a clean look using white paint, Fashion Forward baseboard and casing, with quarter round, custom crown moulding, and painted portraits of her furry friends. With the dogs in mind, she also incorporated built-in crates, a pedestal dog feeder, and cabinetry as added storage for their food.

We love this coastal-inspired master bedroom Sarah designed! A soft blue and blush color palette exude a tranquil ambiance, while subtle decor mashed with striped fabrics make this space feel all the more alluring. Decluttering her closet was also a part of the makeover, along with adding a bright pop of color with Masonite’s Winslow door, from Metrie, as the entry. We also can’t go without saying how sophisticated that marble mural looks!

The Dreamhouse Project

Tash and Kes created a Marvel-inspired superhero bedroom, for their son, that packs a punch! This room is full of varying patterns, and Marvel-themed wall art and action figures. This husband and wife design duo used lighting to enhance the geometric wall feature, which was created using our flat stock. We are loving how they painted Masonite’s Melrose door, from Metrie, in a cool, contemporary blue to add a pop of drama. Our inner-child is marveling over Kash’s new lair.

Vanessa Francis created a beautiful bathroom for her daughter! First, we are greeted by the quaint, yet charming space with Masonite’s Logan door, from Metrie. She also looked to our Finishing Collections for her baseboard and casing needs. Vanessa continued to make a lovely statement in this space using champagne bronze finishes, and a floral shower curtain. We just adore how all of the design elements in this washroom came together!

We want to give a huge round of applause to all the designers and bloggers who participated. Your hard work and astounding spaces left us truly inspired!
