Just as other haute couture maisons occupy a prestigious address (think Louis Vuitton along the Champs-Elysées and Dior on Avenue Montaigne), Rome has a new ruler – Palazzo Fendi.
Fendi has recently designed and unveiled their new headquarters, complete with a “five-storey cultural, retail, hospitality and entertaining complex for the brand and its clients.”
What stands out at this address is the Fendi apartment – a space designed to entertain the brand’s top VIP and celebrity consumers. In charge of aesthetics was design duo Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran of Dimore Studio, who mixed the wall colors themselves. The soft hues, reminiscent of Ladurée macarons boxes, highlight the decadent interior finishings and allow the soft lighting to bounce off the intricate trimwork.
A nod to one of Italy’s biggest brands, this apartment is a beautiful mix of Italian culture and history, and modern comfort and convenience. Read the full story and get inspired by the opulent trimwork at Wallpaper*.
