One of our favorite design pairings has to be herringbone floors and trim. It’s a classic French style that crosses cultures and decades.
With Marta Chrapka at the helm, Polish design studio Colombe Design has created a Parisian-inspired apartment in Warsaw that you just have to see.
Throughout the apartment, you can see the use of panel moulding echoing the high ceilings, and adding the illusion of even more space.
Building upon the classic white wall treatment, Marta has dotted the space with whimsical wallpaper and brightly colored accents.
This home is a true testament to the staying power and design flexibility of a good herringbone floor and interior finishings. See the whole house tour over at Vogue Living.
