Welcome back! It’s week four of Calling it Home’s Spring 2017 edition of the One Room Challenge. The design bloggers are two thirds of the way through this six-week challenge, and they’ve made great progress. Let’s take a peek to see how far they’ve come!

Trimspiration Progress

Caitlin transformed her master bedroom this week by adding baseboards, and crown moulding to her space. We’re loving how this finished look is coming along.

Erica 4

Erica is very excited about hitting the one month mark in the ORC. She has made great progress on her guest house. We are eagerly awaiting her reveal so we can see the impact that our Fashion Forward and Very Square Four Panel doors will make in her space.

Erin is continuing to embrace the color purple as she designs the “tween queen” bedroom and bath of her daughter’s dreams. The addition of crown moulding adds some glamour to this space.

This week was all about interior finishings for Joanna and her husband. Their hard work installing the moulding and doors is definitely paying off. The living room/dining room looks fantastic.

This week, Jen continued to transform her living room by creating this spectacular wall treatment. Her space is really coming together. Keep it up, Jen!

Dabito 4

Dabito is inspiring us with his gorgeous yellow dining room. Do we even need to tell you how much we’re in love with his yellow wall and his use of panel moulding?

Jacquelyn is on schedule with her ORC project debut. Her living room is really coming together. The crown moulding help completes her space, and the pup is a great addition too!

Christine’s basement is really starting to come together. The drywall is finally complete, so she will get started on installing our 1×6 oak flat stock to create stair cladding and the flooring for her landing. Lots of trimspiration coming up soon from Christine!

Pink 4

Jennifer is in the process of opening up and switching her living room and dining room spaces. She is using the photo above as trimspiration (for obvious reasons—we’re loving this).

This week was all about crown moulding for Roxanne. We loved her post about the process of installing a crown moulding build-up in her daughter’s bedroom. You’ll have to wait and see how combining different pieces of moulding can really amplify the architectural interest in a space.

Vanessa’s office is looking great! As always, Vanessa’s interior finishings choices are perfect for the space, which includes Masonite’s Logan door.

Amanda’s master bedroom is really coming together. We are so excited she’s using baseboards, crown moulding, casing, and tongue and groove MDF paneling to update her space.

Cassie purchased rope hand rails for her hallway and staircase, and she is also picking up her doors this week. Lots of major changes coming for Cassie’s space next week with these products arriving.

Sarah reported that the Naturopathic Clinic was painted this week, and she’s looking forward to tackling the wall treatment with panel moulding next week.

Joann put up wallpaper and our French Curves Scene II chair rail in her dining room this week. The trim really adds some definition this space.

Burlap 4

This week, Shannon painted her master bedroom including her Fashion Forward door. In addition, she has planned and taped out the design for her wall treatment. We’ll probably never get over how much we love the deep, moody color of this door.

Nicole updated the cabinets in her brother’s bathroom using regional trim elements. We love how the crisp lines transform the space, and we’re excited that Nicole’s vision is starting to come to life.

More ORC Progress Updates:

Chris Loves Julia: During week four, Chris and Julia added a new rug and dresser to their daughter’s bedroom.

Old Home Love: Candis spent all week working hard on prepping, sanding, and redoing her floors in her master bedroom suite. They came out gorgeous.

Erin Williamson: Erin built a platform for the banquette and installed cabinets and a sink in her kitchen. We are glad she has her sink back!

Bigger Than the Three of Us: Ashley planned out and put up her wall gallery this week in her entryway space.

Thanks for checking in, and we look forward to seeing you next week!
