The Fall 2017 One Room Challenge Roundup: Week Six
November 10, 2017
by The Finished Space

While it would normally be the last week of the Calling It Home’s One Room Challenge, an extra week has been added in this season! The design bloggers are almost to the finish line with their renovations and construction.

Let’s get our trim and moulding fix first…

Alyssa’s family room looks light and airy this week with fresh paint on the Metrie wall finishes.

Hat Tip: Coco and Jack

We’re starting to see the final touches of Alyssa’s family room come together this week. With the casing, shiplap, and baseboards painted; along with the walls, this space has been transformed into a room that is both airy and cozy. With major renovations complete, it’s time for styling and details.

Ashley Rose’s master bedroom suite is nearing the finish line. After a marathon day of installing metallic gold fleck wallpaper, she’s given the space just the right touch to make her new Very Square trim and  True Craft doors. The bathroom also entered into a fully functional mode this week.

Kim had the tile in her master bathroom grouted this past week, in time for a well-deserved weekend off. Her husband also used baseboards to hide some unsightly pipes underneath the vanity. What a creative fix!

Ruthie was knee deep in trim and moulding as part of her living room renovation this week. We love the teaser photo of the finished panel mould and can’t wait for the final reveal!

We cannot believe how far Vanessa has come with her basement transformation! The newly applied wallpaper is super chic and we love that Vanessa used the Logan door to match the other doors throughout her home. They look especially great with some fresh paint from Benjamin Moore.

Bethany revealed results from her readers’ poll to get some help with a few remaining design dilemmas in her son’s room. She also finished painting the walls, including her Metrie trim.

Tash and Kes made great progress in their modern kitchen makeover this week, including installing trim from Option {M} Vintage Industrial for a clean, sleek look. We’re also loving their color selection for their new Masonite Melrose Moulded Panel door that leads to the powder room.

Now let’s find out what everyone else was up to this week…
