Super Bowl Sunday: A Battle of the Spaces
February 2, 2018
by The Finished Space

Super Bowl LII Bowl is kicking off Sunday! The New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles will compete against each other for a championship ring and The Vince Lombardi Trophy. A déjà vu moment as the two rivaling teams last met at 2005’s Super Bowl.

Now, we’re here to talk about spaces! Particularly, we’ll be taking a look at the two quarterbacks from both teams and the abodes they call home.

Tom Brady

This classic yet contemporary space is where New England Patriots’, Tom Bradyand his wife Giselle Bundchen call home. Located in Los Angeles, California, this home is full of added glamorous charm, including a home-gym and library!

The living room adorns a layered crown moulding treatment that not only offers architectural interest but also creates a heightened illusion for a taller, open-concept. Meanwhile, the panel mould wall treatment and tall baseboards add visual depth for a cohesive space, exuding luxe! We are loving how the brown accents and greenery complement the white of the trim and walls.

Located in Newport Beach, California, this elegant yet refined space belongs to Philadelphia Eagles’ Nick Foles. Newly built in 2014, Nick’s home boasts 4-bedrooms, 5-baths and features plenty of high-end finishings.

Nick’s kitchen is anchored by a center island with marble countertops, framed with sleek and angular interior finishing profiles, such as the baseboards, and crown moulding on top of the cabinetry. In comparison to Tom’s more traditional aesthetics, it seems that Nick has a finer taste for transitional and glossy designs.

Regardless of which team comes out winning, both men are considered winners in our books with their astounding taste in interior finishings!
