It’s week three of Calling It Home’s Fall 2016 edition of the One Room Challenge™ and you know what that means! The designers and design bloggers are halfway through their six week transformations!

Here’s where they are:

There is only one word to describe designer Megan Pflug’s fireplace mantel – GORGEOUS! For Megan’s week three update, she shared how she created this fireplace made completely of Metrie True Craft Scene III Fir interior finishings. We have no doubt this fireplace will be a showstopper in her Brooklyn basement. Learn more about Megan’s fireplace, here.

This week, designer Sherry Hart tackled the trimwork in her master bedroom. Sherry created a stunning wall treatment using flat stock. To see more of Sherry’s progress, click here.

Designer Shannon Claire wanted to bring back the ‘Old World’ feel of her 1920’s Washington DC apartment building by introducing architectural details into her space. And this week the interior finshings were installed! Shannon and her team used flat stock and cove moulding to frame out her mirrored wall.  Click here, to see more of the interior finishing installation.

This week, blogger Tricia had a little bit of a set back learning that her carpenter will not be able to install the interior finshings, which lay the foundation for her space, until next week. In the meantime, Tricia shared her trimspiration for the space, take a look!
