One of the best things about being in the design community is taking advantage of opportunities to mix and mingle with the best and brightest! And that’s what we’re excited to do next week at the Design Bloggers Conference in California.

We’re particularly excited to hear Charles, Earl of Spencer, speak about his ancestral home, Althorp Castle.

He inherited the estate back in 1992 and since then has been hard at work updating and renovating this 500-year-old castle, so he knows a thing or two about design. Just check out this great room—we just love the crown moulding!

Like many stately homes, it is ripe with luscious colors, decadent furnishings and elaborate layers of trim.
