Lately, we’ve been keeping our Saturday nights open, in order to make room to watch Buyers Bootcamp on the DIY Network, featuring savvy real estate investor and television personality, Scott McGillivray.
If you’re unfamiliar, Buyers Bootcamp is a series in which Scott McGillivray pulls back the curtain to show the financial risks, and both the commitment and work put into real estate investing. Each episode gives two newbie investors the chance to pitch their properties to McGillivray, in which he picks the one that seems the most profitable. Making a gamble with his own money, McGillivray then works with them in renovating and flipping the home in hopes of making it more valuable on the market.
In the latest episode, Wartime Gems vs. Outdated Bungalows, McGillivray worked with Shane and Deb, and turned what had already been a four-year project into a four-week remarkable transformation. Take a look at the beautiful makeover this bungalow went through:
What a difference a new coat of paint makes in this space! We can admit this house is one we would be ecstatic to call home.
McGillivray also took the liberty of installing a custom wood vanity encompassed by shiplap and chic, yet sleek lighting fixtures, along with a vessel sink. You can achieve this look using our Metrie Complete Pre-Painted Shiplap. With more shiplap throughout the bathroom, and crisp white baseboard for a clean finish, this space went from bland to beautiful!
McGillivray and the team also brought in eye-catching decor and gave this home a color palette makeover, that certainly shouldn’t be overlooked. Check out more of the immaculate spaces below:
If you missed out on the recent episodes, don’t worry there are more to come! Tune into the DIY Network, Saturday nights, at 10/9 CST to see more of Scott McGillvray’s endeavours. Keep your eyes peeled as a #MetrieSighting will be popping up throughout the series.
Canadians, not to fret, Buyers Bootcamp will be on HGTV Canada, with the first episode airing on April 1!
