A Sunny Design in Rainy Scotland
What do you do when you have high ceilings? You build up with moulding! New York City expats transformed a neoclassical home into a warm and welcoming entertaining space by embracing the height and traditional moulding elements.
The dreary Scottish weather wasn’t going to get this couple down, adding pops of sunshiny color and using the windows as room focal points.
Anchoring the entertaining space is a wood burning fireplace and mantel, a few shades darker than the panel moulding-clad walls.
