Sprucing up your walls isn’t as difficult as it may seem! It just takes a little bit of creativity, paint, a finishing nailer, saw, measuring tape and most importantly trim! Here are a few of our favorite ways that designers and influencers have used moulding to give their walls added texture and personality.

WHO: Lindi, of Love Create Celebrate

WHERE: Dining Room

WHAT: Flat stock

Dare to be daring? Love Create Celebrate created this angular accent wall using just flat stock! With a brooding color, this wall treatment offers a contemporary and moody feel.

WHO: Jewel Marlowe, of Jeweled Interiors

WHERE: Powder Room

WHAT: Option {M} New Traditional chair rail, panel mould and crown moulding

Using a combination of interior finishings from our Option {M} New Traditional line, Jewel crafted an alluring wainscot treatment that perfectly complements this gorgeous wallpaper.

WHO: Alisa Bovino, of A Glass of Bovino

WHERE: Master Bedroom

WHAT: Option {M} New Traditional panel mould and chair rail

A piece of panel mould is relatively simple and may not be attention-grabbing from a first glance. However, when these panel mould boxes are together, it is undeniable that it cannot only add visual interest but also become a focal point of your space. Take Alisa’s bedroom above is a shining example.

WHO: Jenny Martin, of Jenny Martin Design

WHERE: Guest Room

WHAT: Metrie Complete pre-painted shiplap

Here is another brilliant room that was elevated by fabulous wall treatments. Here Jenny used shiplap to create a whimsical and airy space that exudes a nautical feel.
