Our recruitment process is driven by the desire to find the right person for the job. Although our hiring process may have some variation depending on the position, the following is a general guideline of what you can expect when you apply for a job with Metrie.

  1. Resumé Submission
    When you apply for a job with Metrie, you will receive an automated email confirming that your application has been received.
    Please note that due to the volume of resumés we receive, only those who are invited to take part in the next stage of the process will be contacted directly by Human Resources.
  2. Initial Screening
    Once your application is received, this is where the process begins:
    It is screened against a set of essential job criteria and Metrie’s core values to determine whether there are a skill and a cultural fit between you and our organization.
    If there is a fit, you will be invited to take part in a brief telephone interview with a member of the Metrie recruitment team and, perhaps, a psychometric assessment to gain greater insight into the information you’ve provided.
    After the telephone screen, the recruiter will contact you to advise you of the outcome of your interview. If you are a qualified candidate for the role, you will move to the next stage of the recruitment process.
  3. Interview
    This interview with the Hiring Manager(s) will be your first face-to-face contact with the company (or this may take place over the telephone or video conference, depending on your location and availability).
    We believe that, at this stage, you are interviewing us as well. It is as much about you getting to know us as it is about us getting to know you. Cultural fit is essential.
    In some situations, additional interviews and assessments with the business may be conducted.
  4. Offer
    Our final step in the recruitment process involves reference checks. We will ask to check at least two professional references, including one person that you directly reported to. In some locations and for some positions, additional background checks and employment verification (e.g., drug testing, E-Verify, credit and criminal checks, etc.) may be required.
    Following the successful completion of your references, background checks, employment verification and passing final candidate selection, a verbal offer of employment will be made. This will be followed promptly by a written offer that will provide details for the terms and conditions of employment, and any other information that may be important to assist you in making your decision to accept the offer.
    You will be notified if you are not the selected candidate, and your application will be kept in our files for two years for consideration for future opportunities.
